When I click on Sign In Now, I got an empty window that stays empty forever. When I launch Acrobat Pro it does and then shows my the Acrobat Licensing Application with the friendly request to sign in first. it tries to update to 20.005.30441 several times but for some reason it fails. It does closes the update in the log with: No update available. What I think to see in the Acrobat Updater DC.log is that Acrobat Pro is updated from 20.001.30002.0 to 20.005.30436. I kept my Mac on during the night so Acrobat Pro would update itself (it did indeed). The install completed without any issues. dmg from my account page and could use the mentioned serial number on that page to start the install. I also made sure everything my folder ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe and every file that started with com.adobe.* was removed from ~/Library/Preferences. Because the jump from High Sierra to Ventura is a big jump, I uninstalled Acrobat Pro 2020 by using the Acrobat uninstaller before reinstalling it.
Luckily I was able to migrate my old High Sierra config from a backup into Ventura.
I have now a second hand Mac Mini with MacOS Ventura.Īccording to this page Acrobat Pro 2020 is compatible with Ventura.
Unfortunately my old laptop with MacOS High Sierra got stolen.
